Clearpath Robotics – Husky A300 & Jackel UGV

Husky A300 UGV

The Husky A300 AMP serves as the largest and most powerful platform in our setup.
It is equipped with a performance on-board computer featuring:

  • 13th generation Intel i7 processor
  • 16 GB of RAM
  • 1 TB solid-state drive.
  • To accelerate vision-language and perception workloads, the system includes an NVIDIA RTX 4090 GPU and 128 channel ouster lidar.
  • The platform runs Ubuntu 24 with ROS~2 Jazzy pre-installed and provides long-range WiFi~6 and LTE connectivity.
  • Power is supplied by a 40 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery pack, which enables several hours of autonomous operation under moderate load.

Jackel UGV

The Clearpath Jackal complements the Husky as a compact, mid-sized UGV suited for tighter indoor and outdoor environments.

  • It is configured with an Intel i5 industrial computer and an optional GTX~1650~Ti GPU for hardware acceleration.
  • The Jackal is powered by a 10 Ah lithium-ion battery, providing approximately 2–3 hours of endurance depending on workload and terrain.
  • Its reduced payload capacity compared to the Husky is offset by greater maneuverability and suitability for agile deployments.

Panther UGV

Panther is an industrial grade, professional UGV designed with outdoor environment in mind. It is an autonomous, open source robot platform running on ROS/ROS 2 (Robot Operating System). Depending on the use-case it can be equipped with a LIDAR, RGB-D camera, robotic arm and other hardware. It can be used in a variety of applications such as agriculture, logistics, construction, inspection and more.

The base platform integrates:

  • Low level CPU: Raspberry Pi 4B with Broadcom BCM2711 processor, quad-core Cortex-A72 (ARM v8) 64-bit SoC @ 1.5GHz and 4GB LPDDR4 RAM.
  • Router:  Teltonika RUTX11 – Dual-band (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Access Point / Client Mode, 4G LTE CAT 6 dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS)
  • 4x Brushless Motor with planetary gearbox
  • Inertial navigation system:  PhidgetSpatial 3/3/3 Precision (3-axis compass, a 3-axis gyroscope, and a 3-axis accelerometer)
  • 720 Wh Li-Ion batteries with protection circuits
  • Front and rear ligths:  Signal lighting made of 48 pcs. APA102C LED chips build into an aluminum profile on the robot’s bumpers
  • High profile off-road wheels
  • Robust aluminium chassis
  • IP54 protection
  • Logitech gamepad F710 (for manual control)
